Animated, colorful and creative- people often use these words to describe me. I am one of those people who loves to put a smile on somebody’s face; even if it’s just for a moment.
I was born and raised in the Philippines. My mom is from Cebu and my dad is from Bohol. I grew up speaking Visayan (a dialect in the Philippines) fluently, but I also know how to speak Tagalog, which is the more commonly known Philippine language. I studied Civil Engineering in college, but after a few years of working in that field, I realized that it wasn’t for me. So, I quit my job, took some time off to travel and find myself, and that’s when I discovered my love for stand-up comedy.
I started doing stand-up in 2013 and since then, I have performed in various clubs and venues all over the Philippines. In 2015, I decided to take my comedy career to the next level by moving to Los Angeles, California to pursue my dream of becoming a professional comedian.
I currently host a show called “Laughing Wild” at Flappers Comedy Club in Burbank, which has been running for almost two years now. My favorite thing about stand-up comedy is that it allows me to be my ridiculous self on stage and make people laugh.
